On February 22, 2022, Alfas Ivanauskas launched the great sustainability project aiming to present sustainability philosophy in an exciting way and to provide specific examples proving that you can live more sustainably. It doesn’t work to tell people “Get rid of plastic”, “Recycle”. The team and Alfas came up with a concept of how people can use sustainable ideas at home, at work and in other life situations in a persuasive, exciting and creative way. The concept should unite people, nature and public relationships.
In 2013, VMG presented social responsibility project ‘VMG Mokykla’. Its goal is creating modern culinary classes in Lithuanian schools and educating the kids. We are teaching them to use modern kitchen equipment and tableware. As well as teaching them the main rules of a healthy diet and table manners.
Under this project, 7 culinary classes were set up: in Pabradė, Klaipėda, Vilnius, Alytus, Karmėlava, Molėtai, and Tauragė.
